Gal: An accomplished student, highly talented artist and motivated player, I apply my creativity to my love for the art of golf. In addition to current core subjects, I'm taking American Sign Language elective courses so that I can converse better with my autistic brother who I will be taking care of in the future. I will also be using this skill in volunteer work to teach other kids on the spectrum. I paint with oil, draw anime and webtoon digital art, play the piano and practice Aikido.
Goal: I want to take my golf game and talents to the next level and contribute my performance to a powerful College Golf team in a highly reputable university that offers a renowned educational program in the arts. In 2022, I aim to continue to improve my current scoring average from 0.42 to -2.0 while maintaining my current 4.5 weighted GPA.
Grades: In the top 7% of my Sophomore class, I currently have a Weighted G10-12 GPA of 4.5 and have earned the Scholar Athlete award in both of my years in High School.
Golf: Competed in Southern California PGA's elite Toyota Tour Cup in 2021, I am very proud of my short game. Currently, as of August 20 2022, I have a JGS scoring difference average of 0.42 and rank 30th of all California sophomores, 134th in all of California, 145th (top 16%) among Class of 2024 and 507th (top 14%) overall women golfers. I placed 2nd both years in the Foothill League of the CIF Southern Section and advanced to CIF-SS Individuals playoffs last season. In 2022, I aim to continue to rise in JGS rankings as seen in my previous accomplishments (rose 1,400+ spots in overall ranking and climbed 159 places in California state ranking since October, 2020).
